Certified Residential Underwriter Designation
Raleigh, NC – December 14, 2015 –John Blackwell, a QC Analyst and Consultant for Quest Advisors, Inc. has earned the Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).
The CRU certification is the highest professional designation for residential underwriters, according to MBA Education, the Mortgage Bankers Association’s education division. The CRU recognizes Blackwell’s knowledge, experience, and education as well as his commitment to the industry.

To earn the CRU designation, candidates must first complete two certifications: the Residential Underwriting Achievement Certificate and the Residential Underwriting Professional Certificate. These certificates create the foundation for the CRU. A comprehensive exam is required before the CRU is earned.
